What is special about direct selling with Vorwerk?

Unlike many other direct selling roles I didn’t have to invest any of my own money into getting started, nor did I have to pay for any of the training to get me started. Also, I did not have to pay for any of the training I was given. I still receive regular, ongoing support now which will help me to progress as far as I want to with the company. Because Vorwerk is a global business, it’s a very professional environment to be working in and the training and support is world class.

There’s also no pressure to hit sales targets; I am able to sell through my social networks which means giving people the opportunity to try the product in their own home, in a relaxed social setting with no obligation to buy. In fact, many of my sales have come from friends who have then referred me on to other people who then host their own party.

What benefits does working with Vorwerk have?

The main benefit for me has been the freedom to work my own hours and control my own income. I work a minimum of 15 hours per week with the remaining time to focus on other things such as the children (or life’s uncontrollable events!). The beauty is the flexibility, I have the chance to earn up to £3000 a month if I work full-time hours, which is great in the build up to Christmas when I’ve got presents to buy!

What training is available?

When I started my role with Vorwerk, I had no experience in party planning or direct sales, but I was soon really confident following the excellent induction training and ongoing sale training. There’s also the opportunity for fast track promotion to Team Leader status if I want to progress more quickly.
All the company asks is that you are friendly, focused and a good communicator with a passion for selling what is a great product.

What is special about direct selling with Vorwerk?

For me, the difference with Vorwerk is that we’re really not about high pressure sales whatsoever. This means that I can build up a great, genuine relationship with my networks and potential customers without them having to worry about ‘what’s in it for me’.
Also, when it comes to showing what the machine can do when I demonstrate it at an in home party, the results are always absolutely astonishing, and the Kobold VK150 almost sells itself!

I can also work very flexibly, controlling my own hours and deciding how many hours I want to work each month based on other commitments that I have to fit in.

What benefits does working with Vorwerk have?

Vorwerk is a very well know brand in Italy, which is my home country. In Italy, it is known as il Folletto.

This brand recognition has benefitted me by giving me a head start when it comes to opening up doors with potential customers, as there are a lot of other Italians amongst my community living in the UK who have already heard of il Folletto. It’s a well-respected, high quality brand known for its reliability and great results when it comes to cleaning!

What training is available?

The support and training is fantastic with Vorwerk. I received a great induction to the company, and they made sure I knew the product inside out before I started booking my in-home demonstrations.

I also meet regularly with my local Branch Manager so we can catch up on company news, review how I’m doing and see if there is any further support or training I require.
